Willy Wonka Monsters
There's a line in the original Willy Wonka movie where he talks about how he saved the Oompa Loompas from a bunch of monsters in their homeland. Snozzwangers, Hornswogglers, Whangdoodles, and Rotten Vermicious Knids. I've always thought it would be fun to design what they might look like, and I'm finally getting around to it. Here's a link to a youtube video with the quote from the movie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9Zhm8QxKmA&feature=fvsr

Hahahhaha, oh man Eric, great stuff. Can't wait to see what you think of for the other creatures. The Hornswaggler has a pretty unique swallowing method, and after owning some snakes, I could imagine if they had hands to unhinge their jaws, they'd be a bit more ferocious :P
ReplyDeletethanks! i've been looking at snake skeletons wondering how to make his anatomy somewhat plausible. i didn't really think about that sort of thing while sketching him, but now that its a sculpt i need to figure where his bones an muscles would be so that he can open his mouth so big and swallow something.
